Our Story

The way we work is as important as the work itself, which is why our office culture is what it is. We’re headquartered in Goa, and work with talent across India on a fully remote basis.

We work with clients across the world on global business challenges, giving every employee international experience. We work across time zones which means work-timings are inherently flexible. We’ve done away with hierarchies, and are a fully egalitarian democratic organization.

We’re a team of web designers and engineers based in sunny Goa, India who think up and create websites and products to help businesses around the world.

Where is Workshore based, and what does the team look like?

Hello from sunny Goa, in India. We’re a growing team of designers, developers and storytellers with a combined experience of over 20 years.

Who do you usually work with?

All sorts of companies, really! But we typically work with startups (normally around Series A) and mid-size enterprise businesses. More often than not we focus on B2B brands, especially those offering tech services and products.

What’s your pricing like?

Most of our engagements are fixed-price contracts in which we provide a detailed proposal after learning as much as possible about your project. These proposals are estimated based on the number of times and people we believe it will take to complete the project, calculated on the basis of our extensive experience with previous ones. In the interest of full transparency, our website projects start at USD 5,000. Please email us to get a customized quote!

Who’s my main point of contact?

We’ll set up a Slack channel with you, your team and our team and assign you two points of contact; one of our co-founders who will be leading strategy, and a dedicated project manager who will be handling day-to-day project organization.

Do you speak English?

Quite fluently, yes. Not only do we communicate internally in English, but our years of experience working with clients across the world (and especially the United States) should assure you that we’re easy and excellent to communicate with.

What timezone do you work in?

When it comes to client communication and collaboration, our normal working hours are 4am to 1pm (Eastern Standard Time) / 10am to 7pm (Central European Time). When it comes to our team’s “core working time” in which everyone connects and collaborates on projects, we follow Indian Standard Time.

How does the client's time zone affect how you work?

Time zone difference is not an issue at all, we comfortably work with the U.S. time zones and have a team on hand that is available 24/7 on-demand.

Do you provide hosting services too?

Workshore directly doesn’t, but Webflow has its own, very reasonably priced hosting service that provides you with an entire platform management system. The hosting is high speed, allows for custom domains and is packed with features that make running the site a breeze for your clients.

How should we communicate with the project management team?

We use the latest tools like Slack, Trello and Google Meet to stay connected at all times and ensure smooth and transparent communication between all stakeholders.

What is the average amount of time it takes you to deliver a website?

It is not possible to pre-define a project time-line as it is project-dependent. However, we are very flexible, great at communication, and have a very good track record of meeting committed timeframes for a project, all while keeping the agency and client on the same page.
